“A door to the past. A window to the future.”
Legacy Tours-Atlanta, Georgia

There are few things more encouraging and inspiring than exposure to your own culture and heritage and the culture and heritage of others.

Knowledge is spectacular and can have a profound impact on character development, self-esteem and economic development. These three principles are all relevant.

Welcome to the National Tourism & Heritage Association. Future newsletters will provide you with useful information about a variety of heritage and culture experiences. Other topics such as preservation and environmental trends will also be high lighted.

The mission is to encourage and educate individuals and communities, “to help them, help themselves…” Our goal is to provide you with resources, insight and knowledge that can be useful for individual and economic enlightenment.

Becoming more aware of one’s heritage enables us to embrace the diversity of various backgrounds and cultures and to acquire the courage to explore and expand our horizons.

New exposure opportunities are exhilarating and powerful and lead to personal and community growth.

Heritage and Culture tourism are major contributors to our economy, specifically destination travel. We learn from our experiences and the experiences of others.

Cities and towns that value and know how to profit economically from their heritage, culture, geography and sense of community are participants rather than observers.

“We must go beyond textbooks, go out into the bypaths and untrodden depths of the wilderness, and travel and explore and tell the world the glories of our journey.”
John Hope Franklin
